UNESCO MGIEP and Instagram India are joining forces to organise not 1, not 2 but 17 Instagram meets simultaneously across India on International Day of Youth (August 12, 2018) to launch the International Campaign on Kindness for the SDGs.
Each Instagram community will adopt one of the 17 SDGs and come together to perform an act of Kindness for the SDG of their choice!
This unique activity will kick-off the activities for the International Campaign on Kindness for the SDGs and will encourage youth across the country to send in their stories of acts of kindness for the SDGs. Furthermore, Instagram influencers will act as social media ambassadors of the campaign and use their networks to amplify the message of the campaign.

The best Instagram meets, judged on the basis of the Instameet Activity, turnout and quality of images will be rewarded suitably.
The '17 Instameets' is a lead-up activity for the International Youth Campaign on Kindness for the SDGs" which aims to gather up to 250,000 stories by end 2019 of youth undertaking extraordinary acts of kindness to achieve the SDGs.
