On the occasion of International Women's Day, UNESCO MGIEP is very proud to share the news of Dr Nandini Chatterjee Singh being recognised by the National Academy of Sciences, India. She has been awarded the Department of Bio Technology's (Government of India) Young Woman Scientist Award for her contribution to the field of neuroscience. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Hon'ble Minister for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India.

The ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi as part of Government of India's National Conference on " Technological Empowerment of Women".
