The SEL for Schools is a two-part certified course for teachers that includes two courses- SEL for Teachers to build teacher’s own Social and Emotional Competencies and SEL for Classrooms to provide teachers with a rich pool of hands-on learning activities to enhance students’ social and emotional competencies that is well known to also improve academic performance.

SEL for Teachers: This course enables teachers to understand SEL and provides them with tools necessary to prevent teacher burnout, enhance their mental and emotional well being, and better manage their classrooms.

SEL for Classrooms: SEL for Classrooms is a hands-on course that informs learners about the science behind teaching SEL in classrooms and empowers them to effectively implement it.

This course focuses on improving the quality of education (SDG 4) by focusing on building social and emotional competencies in service of building peaceful mindsets to create sustainable and peaceful societies as envisioned by SDG 4.7.

Towards lifestyle for sustainability

This course aims to build healthy relationships with oneself, the larger community within which one lives, and the world at large. As such it focuses on building empathy, mindfulness, compassion, and critical inquiry to instill pro-social behaviors.
