A catalytic session ‘Do digital pedagogies truly stimulate neural learning?’ was held with Dr. Stephanie Gottwald, Dr. Nandini Chatterjee Singh, Dr. Michael Hart and Dr. Shwetaleena Bidyadhar to disucss the requirements of digital pedagogies to stimulate learning.
A catalytic session ‘Do digital pedagogies truly stimulate neural learning?’ was held with Dr. Stefaphanie Gottwald, Dr. Nandini Chatterjee Singh, Dr. Michael Hart and Dr. Shwetaleena Bidyadhar as speakers.
This session discussed the requirements of digital pedagogies to stimulate learning. Dr. Chatterjee, a neuroscientist highlighted evidence that provided evidence of learning.
Dr. Gottwald discussed a novel digital app which utilized research evidence to teach literacy.
Dr. Hart emphasized the role of digital literacy in catering to differences in the classroom and Dr. Swetleena Bidyar discussion the implementation of digital pedagogies in the classroom. Overall, the panel suggested that digital pedagogy seeks to augment traditional pedagogy and facilitate teachers to improve students’ learning experiences and encouraged more neuroscience research to establish its efficacy.
