The Global Collective for SEL and Digital Learning was officially launched on 18 July 2020 in conjunction with the launch of the MGIEP report Rethinking Learning: A Review of Social and Emotional Learning for Education Systems.  Since then, we have so far organized five virtual meetings including the Policy Forum. During the first introductory meeting held on 21 August 2020, the members introduced their organizations’ work and priorities, possible areas of shared goals and cooperation, their expectations from this group, and the expertise they can bring to the Collective to identify and meet shared goals.
