SEL to Elevate Compassionate Problem-Solving in the Classroom

Solving any problem requires students to think beyond themselves, to investigate and to connect with the pain and suffering of others. The first essay of this series explored the need for compassionate problem-solvers and examined how the Engineering Design Process (EDP) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills can foster this growth among students in the STEM classroom.
