Meet the Policymaker

Dr. Aishath Ali currently serves as the Minister of Education, Maldives. She graduated from the University of the South Pacific (Fiji) in 2004, with a Gold Medal and John Gibbons Prize as outstanding student with a major in Biology. She went on to do her Masters in the field of Education Management from the University of Western Australia in 2008. Dr. Ali has over 15 years of experience in the education sector, including significant contribution to the establishment of the first University in the Maldives. Dr. Ali will participate in the TAGe dialogue on August 28, 2020.
