Quality Education as Youth Empowerment for Burundi Vision 2040

Association des Jeunes Leaders Unis pour le Développement Durable or Association of Young Leaders for Sustainable Development (AJLUDD), a youth-led civil society organisation in Burundi, successfully conducted an independently organized Talking Across Generation on Education (iTAGe) titled “The role of education on youth empowerment for sustainable development in Burundi.” Undergoing several months from September 2022 to February 2023, the iTAGe has conducted an online survey, a series of youth consultations, and a policy dialogue. The final policy recommendations from the youth have been advocated to the key decision makers as well, including the Burundi Vision to be an emerging country by 2040 .
