Key Challenges for Implementing SEL

In this section of the Rethinking Learning Report (SDM, part 4), authors discuss the many challenges that are encountered by schools and administration in implementing social and emotional learning (SEL). Some of the challenges in implementing SEL are acceptance of SEL into school curricula, financing of SEL interventions, ack of teacher training, Educations Systems' emphasis on competion, and lack of culture specific assessment tools for SEL.
