New Delhi Declaration of Kindness for the Sustainable Development Goals released at the first World Youth Conference on Kindness

This Declaration builds on voices of more than 1,200 young people from 117 countries who responded to a call for contribution by the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP). Assembling in New Delhi, India from 20 to 23 August 2019 in honour of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, we present this Declaration as a continuum of Gandhi’s admonishment of violence, behest for compassion, and embodiment of peace.
